The English Rain as
“The Shut-Inz”
The pandemic in spring of 2020 found our guys losing out on their entire playing schedule. Inactivity not really being an option, and being unable to safely assemble together in any form, they decided to turn their attention to creating recordings in their own homes that articulated the frustrations of social distancing. So, for the first time ever, they also decided to do songs by acts other than The Beatles. Here’s the collection of what they come up with.
Just as The Beatles shut themselves into the studio and recorded as an altar ego of themselves for the Sgt. Pepper album, The English Rain had to come up with a new brand for the material that stretched outside of The Beatles’ catalog. Thus were born, The Shut-Inz.
Here’s hoping you enjoy the diversion, and that it won’t be necessary for long.
